Someone asked...

"I'm stuck on outreach, social media is dead, what the f___ works?"

First question I asked back: Is it a lead problem or a conversion problem? Because those need different fixes.

Here's what I'd do next_

Instead of 10 posts this week, talk to 10 people.

Not pitching.
Just conversations.
Phone calls, coffee chats, DMs with people who already engage with your stuff.

You'd learn more in a week than 6 months of shouting into the social media void.

Social media isn't the work.
Conversations are.

Social media used to make it easier to start them.
If it's not doing that any more, then find a way to start them yourself.

Actually have conversations instead of hoping the algorithm does it for you.

Make something and send it to people who might want it.

I made fix_this_first⇲ a couple of years back. We sent to 190 "they might like this" people.

2 weeks' work.
